The Monnaber Nou hotel is a restored
Mallorcan Manor farmhouse of 556 acres,
and blends its original character
and heritage with modern facilities.
At the beginning of the 13th century
Mallorca was conquered by King Jaime
I, overthrowing its Arab rulers. The
king divided the lands among the nobles
who had supported him. One of these
territories was the estate of Monnaber,
the Arab word for " Hill of Flowers
".
The manor has maintained its original
character and charm thanks to the
thousand-year-old olive trees and
the historic mill. The family hotel
atmosphere is created through the
owning family Mayordomo who have run
the hotel since 1994 and the friendly
staff.
